F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions
Cliff answers your most popular questions........

Q: Do you offer a trial?
A: Yes! ...You can schedule a trial in my Studio, or we can come to you! A trial is highly recommended.

Q: What happens at a trial?
A: The make-up artist will discuss what look you are going for; natural, exotic, etc. You can also bring pictures of what you want. You will be made up how you want to look for your event. What kind of make-up you want, eyelashes etc. will all be done at the trial.

You will get to know your make-up artist. See how the make-up lasts, make sure there are no allergic reactions, know what look you are going to have, and what it looks like.

Q: I had a trial, I loved it, and want to book you.- How does this work?
A: You will fill out a contract with the make-up artist. All the details of the event, and what is needed will be on the contract. A credit card number is also required to reserve your day. Your card will then be charged $50 for the deposit, which will go towards the event. The total will not be charged to the credit card until after the event.

Q: What if I don't sign the contract?
A: Your day is not quaranteed to be reserved, and a team member will not be hired for the job.

Q: I don't want to pay by credit card, what are my payment options?
A: With the way our company works, credit cards are the easiest, most stress free way. We also accept checks and money orders made out to Cliff Weir. Of course, cash is an option, and is preferred for the trial.

Q: What happens on the day of the event?
A: I will arrive at your location with all materials. Then do the job that was discussed at the trial. - If you want to add or subtract services, that's fine. The appropriate materials will be there for what is stated on the contract.

Q: Does anything happen after the event?
A: If paying by Credit Card, you will be sent a credit card receipt. - I'd also love to hear back about your experience.

Q: What if I don't have a trial?
A: You will be asked to make a deposit and fill out a contract, which will guarantee your day & our staff. Arrangements will be discussed with Cliff.

Even if it is a last minute occasion, he can possibly still accommodate you.
- Call to inquire.

Q. I might need you to stay to touch up my make-up, is that possible?
A: Yes! However, we do charge $50 for the first hour, $25 for every hour after. Rates begin when you leave for the event.

Q: Which areas do you cover?
A: We cover the Greater Central Florida area.

Q: Do you come to my home on the day?
A: Yes, if you live (or your venue) is within the specified areas. I can travel to you for your trial and on the day of your wedding. - I will travel outside the area if needed, with a time/travel fee as spelled out in the Contract / Policies Page.

Q: How soon before the wedding should I book a trial?
A: Due to volume of enquiries, it is wise to have a trial as soon as possible; most bookings are taken at least 3 months before. Contact me via the Contact Page

A: I carry a private label line of cosmetics. - They provide revolutionary skincare formulas utilizing the latest ingredients and technology. Products range from botanical-based formulas to high-tech cosmeceuticals with a dermatological focus.

A: All of the products used are dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested. If you have sensitivity to specific ingredients or products (like sunscreen or fragrance, for example) Just let your artist know ahead of time so that alternate products can be supplied.

If you have sensitive skin or have experienced problems with any cosmetics in the past, please let me know as soon as possible.
